The holidays are over now and I feel so relieved! My husband and I traveled to Costa Rica without our little one and we missed him very much! Then, two days after we got back, we packed up Cody and headed to North Carolina to visit family. Now, keep in mind, Cody is 7 months, has never been on a plane and had just spent a week off his schedule with my parents. Hmm…this is going to be a great trip?!? Actually, we were blown away at how resiliant and strong Cody was on the flights! He had fun gazing at all the people, talking, looking at the in-flight magazine and above all…sleeping!! He slept throughout the entire flight! I think it was the vibrations of the plane that did it! I made sure that he ate before the plane ride to make sure he was super sleepy. The only time I was a bit nervous was when we boarded our 1:45am flight and Cody started talking. Well, babbling and cooing…lots of people started groaning and getting pissy. Cody pulled through and fell asleep and all was well! Airplane travel was surprisingly easier then I thought! I was really nervous and probably packed way too much to carry on, but I wanted to be prepared! The trip was great, now only if they’ll send us our luggage that they lost!!!
