Ok, so I didn’t have a six pack before baby, and I sure as hell don’t have one now! But it is driving me crazy! I have no motivation to work out which is HORRIBLE considering my past athleticism. Anyways, I’m so pissed at myself for not working it off right away because the longer I wait, the larger I get. CRAP!!!!! Any ideas, comments, motivating words???

As a mother of four, I can give you a little bit of good news….
Just because it doesn’t disappear *today*, doesn’t mean you won’t lose it! Life with a baby is sure different to anything you’ve ever experienced before, and your body has been through a lot with pregnancy, birth, sleep deprivation…(I could go on!) but you will feel like yourself again in time, and you will have the get up and go to get fit again.
If you have been very fit in the past, it can be easy to despise the small beginnings. It seems pointless to go for a ten minute walk, when you are used to a 40min morning jog! But that 10mins walk helps clear your head, and gently remind your body where you’ve come from….
That after feeling, where you walk with your torso held just that little bit firmer, and your posture is just a little taller - the ten mins will remind you, give you a little taste of what you’re missing.
A treadmill will do, but the real outside world will lift your spirits too, a great bonus!
